FAQ

What is a draw?

A single POST /v1/entropy API call. Each draw counts as one unit against your monthly included volume. Hard stops apply when the limit is reached.

What happens if I exceed my included draws?

The API returns 402 Payment Required when your monthly draws are exhausted. Upgrade your tier or wait for the next billing period.

How does fallback work?

When the hardware entropy reservoir is depleted, the API falls back to CSPRNG. Fallback draws count normally against your monthly quota. The response includes a source_class field so you can distinguish hardware vs. fallback usage.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Yes. Tier changes take effect immediately. You keep your existing API key; the new tier's rate limits and quota apply on the next request.

Do you offer annual billing?

Annual contracts are available on Verified, Verified+, and Enterprise tiers with a 15% discount. Contact info@ for a custom quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards via Stripe. Enterprise customers can pay via wire transfer with net-30 terms.
