A single POST /v1/entropy API call, regardless of how many bytes you request. A 32-byte draw and a 4,096-byte draw each count as one draw.
Paid tiers continue to serve requests and bill overage at the published per-draw rate. Public tier hard-stops at 100 draws/month.
When the reservoir is depleted, the API falls back to CSPRNG. These draws are billed at 75% off the standard overage rate — e.g., $0.0025 instead of $0.010 on Standard. This is disclosed in every response.
Yes. Tier changes take effect immediately. You keep your existing API key; the new tier's rate limits and quota apply on the next request.
