1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Quantum Secure Gateway ("QSG") service, including any API endpoint at api.quantumsecuregateway.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

QSG provides entropy delivery, post-quantum key encapsulation, and audit provenance endpoints. The service includes:

• Public endpoints: Health checks and public metadata that require no authentication.
• Authenticated endpoints: Entropy delivery, encrypted entropy, verification, and audit lookup that require a valid API key.
• Enterprise features: Dedicated pools, mTLS, region-pinned retention, and custom SLAs available under separate agreement.

3. API Keys and Access

• API keys are issued upon approved access request and are non-transferable.
• You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. If compromised, use the self-service key rotation endpoint (/v1/keys/regenerate) immediately.
• We reserve the right to revoke keys used for abuse, excessive traffic beyond rate limits, or violations of these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes or to generate randomness for malicious activities
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the internal implementation of the service
• Share, resell, or redistribute API access without written permission
• Exceed documented rate limits or abuse the service infrastructure
• Use entropy output to compromise or weaken the security of other systems

5. Service Level

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Enterprise customers with executed agreements may have separate SLA commitments. The public service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability.

6. Provenance and Audit

Every entropy draw includes a signed provenance record. Audit trail entries are immutable and cannot be deleted. We do not modify or redact audit records except where required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QSG is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or damages resulting from reliance on entropy output.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use API keys ceases, but audit records remain accessible per their retention policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the service status page or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
